HS Code & HTS Code Lookup
Find the correct HS code or HTS code for any product — by description or photo. AI Vision classifies instantly, shows import duty rates for US, EU & UK, and flags Section 301 surcharges.
What is an HS Code?
A Harmonized System (HS) code is a 6-digit number used by customs authorities in 200+ countries to classify traded goods. The first two digits identify the chapter (e.g., 61 = knitted apparel), the next two the heading, and the final two the subheading. Countries then add 2–4 more digits to create their own national tariff lines — 10 digits for the US HTS, 8 digits for the EU.
Getting the right HS code matters because it determines: the base import duty rate, eligibility for free trade agreement (FTA) preference rates, whether Section 301 China tariff surcharges apply, quota restrictions, and any anti-dumping or countervailing duties.
How to use the HS Code Lookup
- Type a clear product description (material, use, form) or upload a product photo.

Disclaimer: HS code classification is advisory. Final binding classification decisions rest with customs authorities in the destination country. For high-value shipments consult a licensed customs broker.
